The Role:
Your primary focus will be to work on the development of control systems and also support customer's advanced control systems. You would be working closely with machine and device manufacturers. You’ll be interacting with senior management, supply chain teams, and alongside other engineers to deliver automation solutions that add value to manufacturing operations.
Job Responsibilities:

Required:
- Strong Programming skills, C++, Python, PLC Programming experience from architecture to deployment
- Electrical control system design experience
- Knowledge of machinery, sensors, process control
Beneficial:
- Knowledge of system development systems
- Motion control experience/familiarity (servo motors, servo drives, inverters)
- SFC, ST experience would be ideal
- Robotics experience
- Projects experience
- Auto-Cad
The Role
Working as part of a small, multi-disciplined team, you will assist in delivering bespoke projects. These projects may include:
- Full machine/production line specification, design, build, commission, and test
- Retrofitting existing production equipment
- Setting up proof of concept systems and demonstration equipment
Daily activities will include:
- Electrical control system design
- Control system programming, test, and validation
- Speaking to customers to get specifications and to give updates
- Working with the sales team to help cost projects
- Site visits to assist in the commissioning and test of machinery
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
