Dip & Dispense: Streamlined coating through automation

Machine solutions can be designed to match your specified requirements - ranging from small operations to large scale overhauls.

Previous work has been completed in R&D over more than 5 years with our customer to provide them with the optimal solution in order to move away from manual labor, which freed up work which would otherwise require 9 members of staff.

This meant that our customer saved manpower which was utilized elsewhere in the business, meanwhile the coating process was carried out at a faster pace which allowed them to meet timescales with much higher efficiency.

For future projects and additional customers, we have this same product available which can be adapted to meet varied demands, or carry out further R&D to meet a vastly different scope with the experience gathered from our previous projects.

The machine shown above was manufactured in line with the customer's specifications to ensure a consistent and even covering of air drying acrylic conformal coating to waterproof electronics. Having this process automated ensures that only a permitted amount is applied which guarantees repeatability, reliability, and structure.

Without having this process automated, there are significantly more factors which could lead to variables and risk which can easily be mitigated by having condition monitoring - specifying the viscosity required for this process, notifying engineers of any issues immediately, and more.
