Belt Drive Low Profile Slider Actuators
SMC have introduced a low profile, guide slider electric actuator, LEM Series, which has three times the lifespan than that of the previous E-MY2 model. Mounting the belt is easier thanks to the LEM's offset construction, and improvements have also been made to the connection between the separable drive unit and guide. The LEM's mounting dimensions are interchangeable with the E-MY2 Series. A compact design makes it ideal for narrow spaces and avoids interferences with the motor even when using large workpieces. Available in two sizes with four guide types, the motor also has four mounting options and can achieve speeds of 2000mm/s and acceleration/deceleration up to 20,000mm/s².
